Ahahahaha. Ohohohoho. I just checked the calendar in case it was somehow Christmas again, but no. Regardless, it appears that some mischievous deity gathered up Jacobins and Girondists Skepchicks, FTBers and A-plussers, put ’em in a jar, and shook it up to watch them fight. Like apex predators, if apex predators were pathetic and obnoxious rather than deadly, it seems that self-righteous cultural revolutionaries who have made a specialty of arguing in bad faith are incapable of sharing the same territory without conflict. I know; who could have possibly seen that coming? “It isn’t fair, it isn’t right,” Ms. Watson screamed, and then they were upon her. Yes, it’s all fun and games until it’s your mind being read uncharitably and your motives being smeared. Ahahaha, oh, my aching sides.
Oooookay I guess that’s a good place to end this absolute clusterfuck of a thread, that I had foolishly hoped would just be a calm discussion between differing parties but has resulted in me and my site being labeled as abusers. Brilliant job everyone.
Excuse me? Excuse me? I’d just like to point out that using “clusterfuck” pejoratively is offensive to the orgiastically inclined, not to mention that it carries a disturbing hint of ableist scorn toward the physically uncoordinated. Why, I haven’t felt so shamed and triggered since George Michael claimed that “Sex is natural, sex is fun, sex is best when it’s one-on-one.” Check your anti-group sex privilege!

I'll have you know that your mocking comments are offensive to those of us who were born stupid.

Oh, I see. You think it only counts if you're "born that way", huh? Well, thanks! Thanks a lot for just blatantly erasing those of us who identify as trans*stupid!

I myself, prefer the term "Ignoramus American". I am insulted, insulted, I say. Check your Intellualist Privelege, Damian!
On a related note, I must confess I briefly followed along in the group think. And there are a couple of blogs I still follow on FTB (I do like Mano, and Dispatches from the Culture Wars) but I stopped watching one of my favorite video bloggers because he was persona-non-grata for a while. I recently ran across Thunderfoot again, and I had forgotten how HILARIOUS he is. He found this paranoid goofball who basically claimed that the entire west coast was fatally irradiated by the disaster in Japan. Said disaster also caused the Philipine hurricane! Thunderfoot hilariously demolishes this goofball. Said goofball looks and sounds like he is on drugs, but the charming Irish brougue sounds so cute that one wants to listen to him.

How long did Thunderfoot last as an FTB blogger, about a week? It was around that time that I was starting to find myself getting more and more irritated with Peezus, though I didn't really pay any attention to that particular spat.
I've never been able to enjoy any vloggers. I just hate watching any video longer than a few minutes. I can read a transcript much faster.
